About Stacey
A traditional apprenticeship, a contemporary eye
My formal art training can be compared to a traditional apprenticeship from the studios of the early European painters. My tutor and mentor for over 20 years is the recognised Australian artist John Beeman.
In keeping with these time-honoured methods I make my own rabbit-skin gesso panels and only use quality paints and pigments in my works.
